The 2024 Ontario Building Code will take effect January 1, 2025. The OBOA is working to update our training materials to the new 2024 OBC provisions. In the Fall of 2024, Technical Training Courses will start to be offered to the 2024 OBC. The Examination Preparation courses ‘Overview’ will remain referencing the 2012 OBC until a later date when we have confirmation from the Ministry of the examination transition dates from 2012 to 2024 OBC.
