Launch of the Modernized QuARTS website and User Survey

The modernized Qualification and Registration Tracking System (QuARTS) website at www.quarts.mah.gov.on.ca was launched on Thursday March 28 and includes improvements to both the portal, used by regulated practitioners, and the public registry, that is available to everyone. Thank you for your patience and cooperation during this transition to an improved, modernized QuARTS website.

The QuARTS portal is now more efficient for building practitioners to use and includes a new online account management function to support municipalities that pay for their staff’s registrations. The new more user friendly and intuitive website, increases the capacity of practitioners to focus on the review and approval of building permit applications to get shovels in the ground faster.

The new QuARTS Public Registry is available at www.search.quarts.mah.gov.on.ca. The updated website makes it easier to find qualified building practitioners in your area using location-based searches and additional find criteria. This modernized search function reduces the time and effort required for members of the public to find nearby registered practitioners with the necessary qualifications to undertake design/construction project work.

Both QuARTS websites are optimized for use on mobile devices such as phones and tablets.

If you have any questions or need assistance, please continue to reach out to the Qualification and Registration Unit at 416-585-6666 (select option 2) or by email at obc.qualification@ontario.ca.

The Ministry is very interested to receive your feedback on the new QuARTS, understanding that there will likely be a need for fixes and future enhancements. To provide your anonymous feedback, please visit our survey: forms.office.com/r/DG348tb7eZ.
