OBOA Nominations

DIRECTORS CALL FOR NOMINATIONS

Be part of a dynamic leadership team, participate in the governance of the association and the advancement of the Building Official profession, while engaging in personal and professional development.

Governed by a 10 member volunteer Board of Directors, the OBOA is a self-governing not-for-profit professional association for Ontario’s Building Officials. Guided by the OBOA Strategic Plan, the association is committed to maintaining the highest degree of professionalism in building code enforcement and building safety, and promoting uniform code interpretation, and building code certification and training.

Nominations: The Ontario Building Officials Association  reimburses Board members for reasonable expenses incurred to attend the five meetings each year. All nomination forms must be accompanied by the nominee’s Curriculum Vitae stating  the objectives for seeking office and a letter confirming municipal support for holding office, if elected, from the nominee’s  Clerk, Senior Administrator or Council.
